Apple's standard terms apply

Dyld is licensed to you under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which you can read at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. That agreement covers your licence to use the app and Apple's role in subscriptions. The sections below add rules that are specific to Dyld. If they conflict with Apple's agreement, Apple's agreement wins.

Who can use Dyld

You must be at least 13 years old. The app asks for your date of birth during setup and stops if you are under 13.

Your account and your data

Your account, profile and logs are stored on your iPhone and nowhere else. They are not backed up. If you delete the app or lose your iPhone, your history is gone and we cannot restore it. You are responsible for keeping your iPhone secure. The Privacy Policy explains exactly what is stored and what leaves your iPhone.

Not medical advice

Dyld gives general wellness and nutrition information for education. It is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Calorie and protein targets and the weekly suggestions are calculated from the numbers you enter and are estimates. AI food estimates are approximate and can be wrong. Talk to a qualified professional before you change your diet, supplements or exercise, especially if you have a health condition, and stop exercising if you feel unwell.

Food data and AI

Nutrition numbers looked up by barcode or by search come from Open Food Facts, a database that the public contributes to. It can be incomplete or wrong, so check anything that matters to you. Plate scanning and the chat use an AI model that runs on your iPhone. Its answers can be inaccurate.

Dyld Pro

Dyld Pro is an auto-renewing monthly subscription sold through the App Store.

• The price and the length of any free trial are shown on the purchase screen, and Apple asks you to confirm them before you are charged.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase, or when a free trial ends.
• The subscription renews automatically each month unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged for the next month within the 24 hours before the period ends.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in the iOS Settings app, under your name and then Subscriptions. If you are subscribed, Profile also has a Manage Subscription row.
• Refunds are handled by Apple, not by the app.
• The purchase screen lists what Pro includes. Restore Purchases, on the purchase screen and in Profile, reapplies a subscription you already bought with the same Apple ID.

Using the app fairly

Use Dyld only for lawful, personal purposes. Do not try to break, overload or reverse engineer the app beyond what the law allows, and do not use it to harm other people. Where the app lets you interact with others, do not harass them or post anything unlawful.

No warranty and limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, Dyld is provided as it is, without promises that it will always work or be error free. To the extent the law allows, the publisher is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any loss that comes from relying on estimates, targets or suggestions the app shows. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have by law that cannot be limited.

Changes and ending these terms

We may update these terms. The current version is always in the app, in Profile, under Support & Legal, and continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the change. You can stop using Dyld at any time by deleting the app. We may stop offering the app or a feature, and we will not be able to restore data that only lived on your iPhone.

These terms are governed by the law named in the details at the top of this document. Questions about them can go to the contact email in the same details.
